Google has no results for this error code from the logs. Is there something I can look for in logs on either server to see if Vizio is even trying? If there is no even ping attempt then I know for sure Vizio has tried to snuff plex servers for some reason.Įdit: Apparently a ping attempt happens. At .x:32400 and .y:32400 and despite one being freshly made with a different media library and a different OS underneath it, Vizio is still refusing even give more than a 0.05s reconnection attempt. In my attempts to troubleshoot, I have now set up two plex media servers and they work via firefox on android no problem. What I want to be able to do is instead of using the default address to get to the web interface, I'd like to use something like to get to the web interface, in case all Vizio has done is block port 32400. I was hoping something might have changed for that. ![]() Old google search results are turning up that in 2015 they've only let the remote port be customized, and local tcp is statically locked to 32400. Problem is, it looks like plex has that hardcoded and locked down. So I thought I'd just change that port number to something else. Vizio put out an update where it will refuse to even attempt connecting to anything on port 32400. ![]() Please go to the relevant subreddits and support forums, for example: Build help and build shares posts go in their respective megathreads No referral / affiliate links, personal voting / campaigning / funding, or selling posts Welcome to /r/Plex, a subreddit dedicated to Plex, the media server/client solution for enjoying your media!
